WiMax

WiMAX, meaning Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access, is a telecommunications technology that provides wireless transmission of data using a variety of transmission modes, from point-to-multipoint links to portable and fully mobile Internet access. It allows long range connections, as well as the use of wide range bandwidths even between points without direct vision to each other.

We also use for some projects the WiFi technology on the 5 GHz range based upon the 802.11n standards. By means of this technology one can deliver secured, fast and efficient point-to-point or point-to-mulitpoint (graphic) links, which enable the communication of main buildings with the access points, security cameras, etc...

Calidae sets up networks at big buildings, from hotels to companies or hospitals, in a efficient and reliable way. One of the keys of these projects is to provide an homogeneous signal everywhere in the building, and at the same time to optimize the number of signal amplifiers. The system used enables the adjustment of the following:
