Virtualitzation

Virtualization increases efficiency and improves access to resources and applications in organizations. The paradigm "one application, one server" has been obsoleted by this new idea and its advantages:

• Reduces costs in hardware and infrastructure
• Reduces time manager systems
• Improves system security and data
• Allows you to use different operating systems
• Facilitates the migration of systems

The systems most often implemented by Calidae consists of two virtualized servers and one storage unit, allowing you to work with different virtual machines in an efficient and safer environment (see diagram).

Similarly, it is now possible for users to work with what we call virtual desktops. Using an open source virtualization software, we manage that users within an organization access through the web browser on their virtual desktop. This technology reduces costs, increases efficiency and provides new possibilities:

• Ease of use: terminals users simply need to have installed a browser
• Reducing costs: this solution is open source and reduces costs of used third party applications
• Security, reliability and scalability.
• Allows customers to use any operating system.
